Job Title:
The Director of Early Childhood Education is responsible for leading the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs that align with our school's philosophy and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and execute curricula reflecting the Reggio Emilia approach, catering to individual interests and developmental stages of children.
* Guide and mentor a team of educators, promoting professional growth and ensuring cohesive delivery of educational programs.
* Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and planning individualized learning experiences.
* Build strong partnerships with families, communicating regularly about children's experiences and development.
* Maintain a safe, hygienic, and organized learning environment in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF).
Qualifications and Experience:
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in an early childhood education setting.
* Demonstrated understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach and its application in early learning environments.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Current Working With Children Check and Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect (RRHAN) training.
This role requires excellent leadership and team management skills, as well as a demonstrated understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach and its application in early learning environments.
