Your new company

This team plays a vital role in designing culturally safe, inclusive, and impactful learning programs that uplift organisational capability and support positive community outcomes.
Your new role
You will contribute to the development, co-design and delivery of culturally safe training packages that reflect First Nations knowledge, lived experience, and contemporary adult learning principles.
Key responsibilities include:
* Design culturally safe, inclusive training packages and learning resources.
* Apply adult learning and instructional design principles to create engaging learning experiences.
* Co‑design training with First Nations stakeholders to ensure cultural safety and relevance.
* Develop facilitator guides, participant materials, eLearning and induction content.
* Collaborate across HR, L&D and operational teams to align training with workforce needs.
* Pilot training, gather feedback and refine content and delivery.
* Monitor training effectiveness and prepare reports for senior leadership.
* Support wellbeing through trauma‑informed and inclusive learning design.
* Coordinate vendors and ensure external training meets quality and cultural standards.
* Contribute to cultural safety initiatives and workforce capability planning.
* Track project timelines, risks and deliverables.
* Represent the team in forums and working groups.
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated experience in instructional design, training development or adult learning.
* Strong understanding of cultural safety principles and First Nations perspectives.
* Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and manage complex projects.
* Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Commitment to culturally safe, inclusive and trauma informed practices.
* Relevant qualifications in education, training, HR or a related discipline.
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) is highly desirable.
* Experience working with First Nations communities is highly regarded.
This is an Identified position. Applicants must demonstrate capability, understanding and commitment to working with First Nations peoples and embedding cultural safety into practice.
This role is only open to Australian citizens, and you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2).
