About this opportunity
We are looking for talented IT professionals to take on additional work and support both home and business customers in their local area. You'll be connected with customers via our marketing activities and scheduled based on your availability and preferred service areas. You'll benefit from a full customer service team, 7 days a week, with extended hours Monday to Friday. Invoicing and admin are managed by Geeks2U so you can focus on solving tech problems.
Availability:
Jobs may be available between 8am - 8pm every day (weekends included) – you set your own schedule.
Business setup:
Must have an ABN and be operating as a business or sole trader.
Equipment & transport:
Must have your own tools, troubleshooting equipment, access to parts, and a reliable vehicle.
About you
We're looking for IT support technicians with the following attributes:
A passion for technology – you'll help setup, fix, and provide ongoing support for laptops, phones, printers, Wi-Fi routers and more
A history of providing on-site tech support in a home or office setting
Great customer service and communication skills
The ability to explain technical issues without the jargon
Your own vehicle and current driver's license
Your own toolkit, troubleshooting equipment and parts inventory
You hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) and maintain all necessary insurance for your business activities
