Puppy Yoga Assistant Job Description
As a passionate and friendly individual, you will be the welcoming face of our brand, helping create unforgettable experiences for our guests. You will assist with event setup and pack down, check guests in upon arrival, care for the puppies throughout the session, and potentially host classes or assist instructors when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Event Setup & Pack Down:
o Prepare the venue with necessary equipment, ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting environment for guests and puppies.
o Ensure all necessary supplies are on hand, including yoga mats, decor, puppy pens, water bowls, and cleaning materials.
* Guest Experience:
o Greet and check in guests upon arrival, providing briefings on event flow, safety, and puppy etiquette.
o Answer questions and support guest needs throughout the session.
* Puppy Care:
o Supervise and gently manage the puppies during events, ensuring their water, rest, and hygiene needs are met.
o Watch for signs of stress or overstimulation in pups and take appropriate action.
* Event Hosting (optional/occasionally required):
o Introduce the session and run the opening or closing script.
o Support the yoga instructor with class flow and timing.
o Represent the brand with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Passionate about animals, especially puppies.
* Confident, friendly, and professional in customer-facing roles.
* Reliable, punctual, and proactive.
* Comfortable with light physical work (setting up, cleaning, carrying supplies).
* Able to stay calm and attentive in dynamic environments.
* Previous experience in hospitality, animal care, or events is a bonus.
