As a team leader, you will provide guidance and support to Environmental Health Officers, ensuring they maintain high standards of professionalism, customer service, and technical expertise.
* Support and guide Environmental Health Officers to ensure they meet high standards of professionalism, customer service, and technical expertise.
* Conduct internal audits of officer inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
* Manage difficult complaints and negotiate positive outcomes with relevant parties.
* Review officer legal proceedings and liaise with solicitors to ensure evidence and legal practice are delivered effectively.
About the Role
To be successful in this role, you will have a Graduate Diploma of Environmental Health Practice or equivalent qualification, as well as extensive experience in public health services. You will also possess strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strategic mindset to improve public health outcomes.
* Hold a Graduate Diploma of Environmental Health Practice or equivalent qualification.
* Have extensive experience working in public health services.
* Have high-level technical knowledge for public health service provision.
* Communicate clearly and confidently, even with sensitive or complex issues.
* Be able to problem-solve and think strategically to improve public health outcomes.
* Hold a Victorian Drivers License.
