Job Purpose and Impact
In this hands-on role, you will execute the site’s daily and weekly priorities and directly lead the onsite team, ensuring they are trained and competent to perform duties across all operational areas, including harvest receivals, grain classification, stack building, tarping, site hygiene, grain outturn, road and rail operations, and bunker operations. You will ensure work is performed safely, with a focus on quality and cost controls.

Key Accountabilities
1. Execute routine operations in accordance with policies and procedures related to employee, food, and feed safety, and environmental compliance.
2. Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are met.
3. Operate within budget guidelines.
4. Maintain high customer service standards.
5. Implement operational plans at the site.
6. Develop, supervise, and coach casual staff onsite.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Experience with plant operations, implements and attachments, tractors, telehandlers, bulk material conveying, and small plant and hand tools.
* Training and certifications will be provided for additional required tickets and licenses.
* Experience in the grain industry or bulk material handling is highly regarded.
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety standards with an ability and desire to promote a proactive safety culture and address unsafe practices.
* Practical, hands-on approach to work and problem-solving skills.
* A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
Willingness to work extra or flexible hours as needed to meet customer requirements is expected.
