We are seeking a motivated Junior Electronics Repair Technician to join our team in Port Melbourne. This temporary, casual role is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in the electronics industry. The successful candidate will assist in diagnosing and repairing electronic devices, contributing to our commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.
This could be your first job in electronics – what matters most is your attitude, reliability, and interest in learning. Training and development will be provided.
You will work alongside experienced technicians repairing and testing electronic equipment used in professional and technical environments.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Has the right behaviours and attitude (reliable, eager to learn, takes pride in their work)
* Has some exposure to electronics (TAFE, VET, hobbyist, or personal projects)
* Is comfortable using basic tools and test equipment
* Has good attention to detail
* Can follow instructions and work safely
* Has basic computer skills for logging work
This role would suit someone who has:
* Completed or is studying a TAFE qualification in Electronics, Mechatronics or similar, or
* Has hands-on electronics experience through study, hobbies, or previous casual work
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Soldering and PCB repair experience
* Ability to read basic schematics
* Experience using multimeters or oscilloscopes
* Exposure to technical or electronic products
