Position Summary: • Assist with the preparation and cooking of food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, focusing on attention to detail • Follow a food preparation checklist and establish priority items • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use • Develop strong food safety and cleaning skills to ensure assigned kitchen section is properly maintained • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives and equipment. • Be the connecter and facilitator of collective power and assist the kitchen team in operational tasks and duties • Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed guest expectations About You: • Passion for the industry • Working rights in Australia • Enthusiastic to escalate your career • Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast paced environment • Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude Why Choose Marriott?
