We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead Mayfair Hotel Adelaide, directing financial performance, guest experience, and team development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Establish performance and development goals for head of departments, providing mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to enhance performance.
* Maintain compliance with all required brand and service standards, collaborating with colleagues to exceed guest expectations.
* Build relationships with guests and external contacts such as clients, government officials, travel industry representatives, suppliers and local communities.
* Lead capital plans and asset management initiatives, working with owners to maintain or improve the property's market leadership position.
* Analyse financials to drive revenues, future profitability and maximum return on investment.
* Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues and hotel assets while complying with health, safety and regulatory standards.
* Develop programmes and initiatives to increase team engagement, manage change periods and achieve performance/hotel metrics.
We are looking for a candidate who has:
* Proven General Manager experience, ideally in Luxury & Lifestyle brands.
* Expertise in stakeholder management, fostering key partnerships within the business and local community.
* Background within F&B and experience with new restaurant concepts.
* Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record in driving financial and operational performance with a solid understanding of local markets.
* Capacity to build and lead a high-performing, engaged team and commitment to developing and coaching colleagues.
* Expertise across hotel operations, revenue management, and customer and brand service standards.
* Must speak fluent English.
