**About the Role**:
We are seeking a Specialty Excavation Specialist. This role can be based anywhere across the East Coast of Australia.
This role will develop long term partnerships within our customer base throughout multiple market segments, including but not limited to - Mining, Gas, Water and Civil Construction sector's.
You will build solid & dependable relationships with our customers.
**This job will involve**
- Creating and executing sales and rental opportunities for Vermeer Surface Miners, Track Trenchers, Pipeline Horizontal Directional Drills, Mud Pumps and Reclaimers
- Commercial management of assigned major accounts
- Create and maintain relationships with Tier 1 pipeline, mining and construction companies
- Project-based prospecting
- Facilitate the preparation of quotes, tenders & sales proposals
- Prepare regular reports on progress and forecasts
Promote whole-goods, parts, and service as a customer solution
- Develop a keen awareness of the competition plus business and industry trends.
- Conduct field demonstrations
**You will bring the following skills and experience to the role**:
- Previous sales experience in a related industry
- Knowledge of resale values of specific machinery.
- Understanding of local market conditions.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM & sales software systems
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to seek sales opportunities
- Professional presentation
