This is a senior leadership role where you’ll partner closely with the Head of School and Dean to drive operational excellence, enable academic success, and shape the future direction of the school. With a complex and high-impact environment spanning education, research, and clinical partnerships, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, stakeholder-rich setting. Reporting to the Head, Executive Services and working closely with the Head of School and Dean, the School Manager is a key member of the school’s leadership team. You will play a central role in enabling the effective operation of the school, contributing to the planning and delivery of its academic and operational priorities. The role oversees operational planning, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and the coordination of activities that support the delivery of education, research, and external partnerships. You will also lead a team of professional staff and work closely with colleagues across the faculty and broader university. Key responsibilities provide day-to-day operational leadership in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment spanning education, research, and clinical training coordinate and oversee activities across multiple teams, functions, and locations, including metropolitan and regional sites build strong working relationships with academic leaders, professional staff, and external partners including health districts and clinical sites support the smooth delivery of education programs and clinical placements, ensuring alignment with operational and academic needs oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring effective and responsible use of resources, maintaining compliance with WHS, financial and HR policies and reporting requirements support the implementation of strategic initiatives, including new programs and evolving priorities ensure effective communication, coordination, and issue resolution across diverse stakeholder groups operate within a governance, risk, and compliance framework, ensuring appropriate processes and standards are met support a high-performing professional staff team, providing guidance, structure, and operational oversight.
