What is your role?
As an Associate Director | Mechanical, you will provide leadership and direction across a portfolio of multidisciplinary projects, serving as the technical point of contact for both clients and internal teams.
You will draw on your strong technical background to deliver innovative, efficient, and sustainable mechanical services solutions, while ensuring seamless integration with other disciplines.
You will also lead and mentor a team of up to ten mechanical engineers, ranging from graduates through to associate level, guiding their professional growth and promoting technical excellence.
In this role, you will be accountable for project delivery, client engagement, and technical quality, while actively contributing to the broader leadership of the Sydney office.

About You
Over 7 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the building services industry
Strong experience delivering multidisciplinary projects, proficient with Australian standards
Proven track record in managing complex projects from concept through to completion
Confident acting as the key technical contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders
Experienced in leading, mentoring, and developing teams of engineers across all career stages
Skilled in resource planning, project budgeting, and commercial management
Interest in sustainability, energy efficiency, and environmentally responsible design
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to drive technical innovation and implement best practice solutions
Thrives in leadership roles combining technical authority, project delivery, and people management
