**About the Role**
Are you a strategic senior leader with a passion for financial excellence? We are seeking a dynamic General Manager of Financial Reporting and Control to join our Group Finance Division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Financial Reporting and Control team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of statutory reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries.
You will provide expert advice on complex accounting transactions and be the accountable owner for the design, development, and communication of the Group's accounting policies to ensure compliance with all relevant requirements. You will be crucial in managing a team of Financial and Accountant professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
This role will be reporting to Chief Finance Officer which will require a solid focus on managing the core financial reporting functions of BOQ Group and managing the accurate and timely end of month, end of quarter and end of year close process for the financial results of the Group. The role will require the formation of close working relationships across Finance, the Group more broadly and externally and will require strong collaboration, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
