As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Production Assistant to join our Welshpool team.
Position Overview
You will operate the embroidery and heat press machines and maintaining quality control for all jobs that pass through the production room.
You'll be responsible for setting up the embroidery machine, framing the garments ready for embroidery, preparing and programming the machine ready for stitching.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and manage embroidery machines and heat press machines for garment decoration.
* Oversee day-to-day job lists to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
* Maintain strict quality control across all production output.
* Manage workflow to ensure efficiency.
* Perform machine maintenance and ensure all equipment is kept in optimal working order.
* Assist with hands-on production tasks, including order preparation, folding, and finishing, where required.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure the standards of RWW is upheld.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Prior experience operating embroidery and/or heat press machines would be an advantage, but is not essential.
* A keen eye for detail with a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
* Positive attitude to learn, reliable work ethic, and the ability to lead by example.
* Comfortable with standing for extended periods and handling materials as needed
