Having a can-do attitude and the flexibility to adapt across different cost functions will be key to success in this role.Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities of this role include:Deliver clear and consistent reporting of financial performance including monthly resultsMeasurement and tracking of cost drivers, operational metrics and cost saving initiativesForecast and budget preparationFlag risks and opportunities to enable mitigationProvide financial support on new cost saving initiatives, with ongoing focus on unit cost improvement, working closely with managementProvide financial support for business cases and/or contract reviews including detailed financial modelling and analysisTo be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills, qualifications and experience:Professional accounting qualification or currently studying (e.g. CA / CPA)Minimum 1 year experience providing insightful analysis through management accounting or business partneringExposure to a complex and faced paced corporate environmentStrong computer-based skills (advanced Excel, PowerPoint)About JetstarThe Jetstar Group has airlines in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.
