Business Analyst (Data & Reporting)
Full time | Hybrid working | $110,000 – $120,000 + super | Heatherton location (SEMPHN)

About the Role
In this permanent full‑time role, you will:
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Develop and refine performance reporting frameworks, KPIs, and data specifications.
- Deliver business and technical analysis to support organisational reporting, impact measurement, and service planning.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and technical teams to design robust data and reporting solutions.
- Support end‑to‑end project delivery using Agile methodologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to change management activities relating to data, reporting, and business processes.
- Promote a team-oriented team culture and maintain effective relationships across directorates.
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
- Strong experience delivering reporting solutions and supporting business process design.
- Advanced skills in requirements gathering, documentation (BRDs, functional specs, user stories), process modelling and data analysis.
- Experience facilitating workshops with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, SQL, and business analysis/project management tools.
- High‑level communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Business, IT, or similar preferred).
