About the Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Supply Officer to join our purchasing team, who are based at the loading dock to receive and distribute all goods, including food, beverages and general products, throughout the resort departments.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this is an active hands-on role performing manual and admin duties. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient supply and distribution of general goods, food, and beverage products across all resort departments. In a busy and fast paced environment, your key responsibilities for the role include:
Place and process orders to fill requisitions and deliver goods to resort departmentsMaintain records, invoices and credits received, using the inventory management systemMaintain stock levels, rotating and storage of food, beverage and general goodsManage receipt of deliveries and assist with the traffic flow, hazards or defects in the locking dockPerform safe work practices, pushing trollies and operating a forklift to unload & move stock on palletsCommunicate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, perform duties in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner
What you'll need to be successful
Flexible availability to work Monday-Friday between 7am-4pm. This role is required Tuesday & Friday full days (eg. 7.30am-3.30pm) & Monday, Wednesday & Thursday partial days (eg. 8am-1pm)Hospitality experience in hotel or resort environment, desirableExperience in purchasing, stock control systems and procedures, stock ordering, delivery, recording, handling and storageProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsForklift Licence & experience, desirableWork effectively in a team environment, along with time management, problem solving and attention to detail skillsClear written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical skills understanding data and financial informationThe ability to perform physical duties incl heavy lifting and repetitive manual tasks safely
