The Role: Content, Strategy & Engagement
As our Social Media Co-ordinator, you are the digital voice of our brands. You won't just be posting; you'll be planning, capturing, and managing the entire digital ecosystem for our group.
Key Responsibilities
- Organic Social Management: Plan and execute the content calendar across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- On-Site Content Creation: Head out to our parks to capture high-quality Reels, Stories, and photography that brings our guest experience to life.
- Digital Asset Management (DAM): Organise and maintain our visual library, ensuring our best assets are ready for media, partners, and internal use.
- Influencer & Media Liaison: Coordinate familiarisation (famil) visits, hosting creators and ensuring they capture the magic of our sites.
- Community Management: Engage with our audience daily, fostering a professional and welcoming online presence.
- Performance Tracking: Report on what's working and identify new trends to keep our brands at the forefront of the tourism industry.
The Ideal Creator
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Experienced: You have 2+ years in social media or content creation (bonus points if it's in tourism or hospitality).
- Technical: You're a pro with a DSLR/Mirrorless camera and a wizard in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Canva.
- Strategic: You understand that a great post isn't just about \"likes\"—it's about brand alignment and engagement.
- Mobile: You hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence and love getting out of the office to where the action is.
- Qualified: You hold a qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media.
Position Details:
* Employment Type: Part Time
* Location: CaPTA Group Head Office, Cairns (with regular on-site content visits)
* Start Date: Immediate
* Remuneration: Amusement, Events and Recreation Award 2020 - Competitive hourly rates aligned with experience
* Roster: Flexible part-time hours to suit the right candidate, with occasional event and shoot coverage
