Our client is a national leader within the manufacturing Industry, supplying agricultural equipment and machinery.
This manufacturer is aiming to provide the best service to all stakeholders involved with a big focus on safety commitment. They are now looking for an experienced Supply Chain Lead to join their growing team in Balcatta.
**Your new role**
As the Supply Chain Lead, you will lead the development and optimisation of the group's supply chain strategy; managing freight, supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely flow of incoming materials and outgoing product. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work collaboratively with the Executive Team to reduce supply bottle necks, drive continuous improvement, lead warehousing and end-to-end logistics operations
and deliver outstanding service levels to customers.
Additionally, your responsibilities will include:
- Management of the logistics and warehousing team, driving improvement within processes (through LEAN, 5S etc.) and creating exceptional team culture.
- Full-cycle logistics management of freight and transport providers, driving cost-efficiency and improvement, and ensuring SLAs are met consistently to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Fostering positive relationships both with customers and external providers, managing the resolution of issues and handling complaints.
- Working with the General manager developing forecasts for all products on an annual basis
- Design with the General manager and provide monthly reports on key SC metrics
- Ability to work with ERP and SCM tools to forecast, plan and manage procurement and distribution
**What you'll need to succeed***
- Previous experience in a similar role within supply chain, with demonstrated knowledge across supply planning, logistics management, demand forecasting, Master Data, inventory management and purchasing.
- Excellent systems skills, with previous ERP systems experience and high-level Netsuite and Netstock desired
- A track-record of exceptional relationship management, with experience fostering strong relationships with suppliers, third-party logistics providers, key retailers, and internal stakeholders.
- An industry background working within the Manufacturing space
- Strong numerical and literacy skills and the ability to think laterally to solve complex problems
- An innovative mindset and ability to think laterally to quickly problem solve, together with flexibility and a willingness to adapt to and embrace change, are all pivotal to success in this role
- You will have a strategic and continuous improvement mindset.
- Diploma or Bachelor level qualifications in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business or Management will be highly valued
