Based at our client's Condell Park site, the successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated team to troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
The primary responsibility of the role will be to maintain and repair machinery to ensure optimal performance.This is a Permanent Position.Hours are 6.30am – 2.30pm (Mon – Fri).
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and improve machinery uptime.Collaborate with maintenance team members to address maintenance needs efficiently.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.Perform general plant and building maintenance work.Skills and ExperienceProven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing setting.Motivated worker with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of mechanical systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.MIG/TIG welding experience.Machining / Turning experience.Refrigerant gas experience will be highly regarded.Basic computer skills – Microsoft suite and Preventative Maintenance system.Forklift licence preferred but not essential.Restricted electrical licence preferred.Why ApplyThis is an excellent opportunity to join a Global company that offers a competitive salary, long term stability and excellent scope for advancement.Job security with a company in business for more than 75 years.Supportive, collaborative team environment.Opportunities to cross-train, enhance your skill set and advance your career.
