We seeking a reliable and hands on WHSE Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on maintaining a safe working environment through proactive hazard management, compliance monitoring, safety engagement, incident management, and continuous improvement of safety systems. You will also support the National WHSE Manager with site improvements, projects and plans across the ANZ business
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard identification walkthroughs
* Monitor compliance with safe work procedures and PPE requirements
* Support supervisors in managing operational safety risks
* Assist in maintaining safe housekeeping standards
* Participate in toolbox talks and pre-start meetings
* Organise trades to perform routine safety inspections & maintenance work
* Assist in incident management through investigations and reporting
* Assist in the development and review of risk assessments and SWMS
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and internal policies
* Involvement in WHSE projects across the business
About You
* Hold professional qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety (Cert IV) or equivalent
* Understand WHSE legislation requirement across Australia
* Be motivated, positive and strategic minded, driving WHSE improvements
* Be well-organised, flexible and have a can-do attitude in every element of your role
* Assertive yet friendly manner couple with good verbal and communication skills
* Be able to work autonomously when required as well as in a team.
* Skills that can deliver targets and work with a team to ensure a safe working environment.
* Passionate WHSE professional and self-starter
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to travel as required
