About This Role
This is a full-time, permanent position based at our head office in Perth.
We operate a hybrid work model that allows for a mix of in-office and remote work arrangements, both in the office and from home.
As a Business Planner, you will develop and maintain strategic plans for assigned assets, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and market outlook.
You'll create integrated strategic plans that connect operational performance, commercial strategy, sustainability goals, development projects, and closure requirements into a unified, value-optimised asset plan.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining strategic plans for assigned assets
* Creating integrated strategic plans that align with corporate strategy and market outlook
* Collaborating with stakeholders to present strategic insights and build consensus
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in:
* Demonstrating keen business acumen and strategic insight
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Analyzing complex planning systems and technical frameworks
* Leveraging operational insight to enhance strategic decision-making
Qualifications for this position are:
* Relevant degree in mining/processing/industrial engineering, accounting or business
* Second degree or postgraduate preferred
The ideal candidate will have experience in mining, manufacturing, or comparable industrial sectors, with bauxite or alumina experience preferred.
