Role Overview
The Population Health Planning and Evaluation Manager will be a valued member of the Ovens Murray Public Health Unit, developing and implementing strategies to improve population health and well‐being across the catchment. The role involves leading and coordinating an effective catchment-wide system, enabling program delivery and providing strategic support to key stakeholders for improving community health. The manager will analyze data, identify trends, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive evidence-based decision making.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and plan coordination of population health initiatives across the catchment.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve population health outcomes.
* Provide strategic support to stakeholders and facilitate program delivery.
* Analyse data, identify trends, and recommend evidence-based actions.
* Manage evaluation, performance, and research activities.
* Lead the multidisciplinary team to achieve best outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
* Program management experience.
* Team leadership skills.
* Strategic planning experience.
* Evaluation, performance management, and research knowledge.
* Bachelor's degree in Public Health (Health Promotion), Healthcare Management, Epidemiology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
