Key Leadership Role: Operations Manager
This is a pivotal position that will play a significant role in shaping the operational future of our institution.
The Operations Manager will work closely with senior executives to lead the delivery of safety, research integrity compliance, and operational excellence across our diverse suite of laboratories.
This leadership role will oversee critical aspects of laboratory operations, ensuring facilities meet all licensing and regulatory requirements.
The Operations Manager will also be responsible for fostering strong relationships with industry partners, academic leads, and other stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and generate new income streams.
This is an opportunity to lead a team of technical staff and cultivate a high-performing, collaborative culture.
Safety and Compliance Expertise
* Proven experience managing laboratory operations, safety systems, and compliance frameworks in a university or health/science setting.
* A strong understanding of ethics, health and safety protocols, and relevant licensing (e.g. NSW Health).
Strategic Leadership
* Demonstrated ability to manage people and performance, lead change, and develop systems that drive continuous improvement.
* Experience identifying commercial opportunities and building business cases, proposals, or partnerships with industry and health sector stakeholders.
