Join Our Team at Millmerran Power Station
Do you want to work alongside one of Australia's top-performing coal-fired power stations? Millmerran is a leader in the industry, processing 11,000 tonnes of coal daily. Ventia provides operational and preventative maintenance services to the Millmerran Power Station, which generates 870MW of electricity, powering over 1 million homes.
We're looking for a Maintenance Planner Scheduler who enjoys structure, coordination, problem‑solving and keeping things running smoothly. If you thrive on turning complex maintenance needs into clear, organised plans, you'll fit right in.
You'll work a Tuesday–Friday week, with a total remuneration package inclusive of super $140,000–$160,000 (TFR, pending experience).
What You'll Be Doing
* Develop detailed, practical 3‑month lookahead maintenance programs
* Partner with Supervisors to scope works aligned with contract and site needs
* Create thorough work packs, schedule labour and coordinate materials
* Keep maintenance schedules accurate, up‑to‑date and continuously optimised
* Review completed works for quality, cost, timeliness and overall performance
* Build strong, consistent communication channels with the client
* Support ongoing safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in maintenance planning or a similar role
* Practical knowledge of coal plant operations
* Experience using CMMS systems
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* White Card (essential)
