About the role
Bakers Delight Joondalup is seeking an experienced Baker to join our dynamic team in Joondalup, Western Australia. As a full-time Baker, you will be responsible for the preparation and baking of a variety of freshly made breads, pastries and other bakery items to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established brand in the heart of the Joondalup community.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare, mix and bake a range of breads, rolls, pastries and other bakery products according to recipes and quality standards
* Ensure all baked goods are consistently high quality, visually appealing and meet customer expectations
* Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary ingredients and supplies
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
* Collaborate with the Bakery team to meet production targets and efficiently manage workflow
* Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries or requests
What we're looking for
* Strong knowledge of baking techniques, recipes and industry best practices
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality baked goods
* Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy equipment and work in a fast-paced environment
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
* Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
