Software Engineering Leadership Role
This is a leadership role in software engineering, where you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of the best Ubuntu integration for the latest IoT and server-class hardware platforms and software stacks.
* Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions across PC and IoT technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* To manage relationships with commercial partners to ensure timely delivery on agreed project milestones.
* To lead, challenge, and develop strong engineers through coaching, mentoring, leading by example, and feedback.
* To oversee commercial engagements and support strict quality standards.
* To engage with other teams at Canonical to ensure alignment on product architecture and roadmaps.
The ideal candidate has worked with Linux distributions.
About You:
You should have experience working directly with customers resolving their technical issues interpreting business challenges effectively communicating how your solution meets their needs. Demonstrated experience managing or leading a team of software engineers understanding agile software development methodologies collaborating effectively across multiple internal teams building trust delivering results effective communications skills in English both written oral a bachelor's degree preferably in a technology field
