What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the position is to provide efficient and effective administration support across a range of duties within the Health Information and Records Service to ensure timely, accurate and complete patient information is available at point of care. You will receive comprehensive training across all stages of the medical records workflow to ensure you are fully equipped, confident and skilled in all areas of the position.
About you
Previous experience working in busy and complex health-related environments, including the use of Patient Administration Systems for tracking and managing information. Demonstrated strong understanding of NSW Health policies and guidelines relating to privacy, confidentiality, and the release of information. Ability to work autonomously within established guidelines, meet deadlines, set priorities effectively, and contribute positively as a member of a team, supported by competent computer and clerical skills.
