KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide active supervision to ensure the safety of all pool users
* Identify risks and respond quickly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies
* Deliver first aid when required
* Promote safe aquatic practices and encourage positive behaviours among patrons
* Assist with pool operations, including equipment setup, pack down, and compliance with safety standard
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
* National Police Check (issued in the last 6 months)
* DHS Working with Children Check
* International Criminal History Record Check (if worked/lived overseas in the last 5 years)
* Pool Lifeguard Certificate
* Certificate of completion for "Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care" Training
* (HLTAID011) Provide First Aid or equivalent Certificate
* (HLTAID009) Provide CPR or equivalent Certificate
