About the Role
This is a challenging and varied role that provides opportunities for personal and professional growth. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your technical expertise to deliver exceptional front-line client service, supervise junior staff, and contribute to business development activities.
Skill Requirements
1. You must hold the CTA qualification or be qualified by experience. Additional qualifications like ICAEW, ACCA, or STEP would be beneficial.
2. Experience in managing a portfolio of private clients and reviewing self-assessment tax returns completed by other staff.
3. A solid background in Personal Tax compliance work within a professional services environment, including:
o Capital Gains Tax planning
o Remuneration planning
o IR35
o Trusts/IHT
o Property income
4. Beneficial skills: Statutory residence test/residence issues; immigration/emigration considerations; agricultural/landed estate matters; property development; HMRC enquiries and disclosures.
5. High ICT literacy with sound knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and accounting/tax software packages. Experience with CCH would be preferable.
6. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and delegate tasks effectively within a team.
7. Articulate and confident communicator, both orally and written.
8. Self-motivated and tenacious approach to work with attention to detail.
9. Flexible and willing to undertake some travel and overnight stays away from home.
