Scope
To supervise project delivery works including safe, efficient and economic running of projects in conjunction with Operations Manager or Regional Manager within the local region. The position will serve the business nationally and supervise projects based on national needs and scheduling.

Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision (Preferred)
Experience
Minimum 10 years in road/civil constructionStrong knowledge of road reconstruction machineryProven interpersonal and organisational skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and written communication

🔑 Key Responsibilities
1. Quotation & Tendering
Assist with supplier pricing, site/client visits, and productivity/methodology inputs
2. Project Preparation
Conduct site visits and identify risksCoordinate service location (DBYD and SPA procedures)Plan project methodology and resourcesPrepare documentation (PMP, SWMS, PRA, WI, ETP forms)Procure subcontractors and materialsDevelop traffic control plans
3. Project Delivery
Liaise with client supervisors and SPA Foremen/Leading HandsEnsure project delivery meets specifications and client expectationsMonitor progress and implement improvementsUpdate project programs and escalate contractual issuesEnsure compliance with SPA policies and proceduresResolve operational issues promptlyConduct site visits before plant/resources leave full-service site
4. Marketing & Client Relations
Conduct client visits and provide technical adviceHandle customer inquiries and dispute resolution
5. Human Resources
Deliver training, toolbox talks, and short coursesCommunicate company policies and resolve staff grievancesDocument HR discussions in collaboration with HR Advisor
6. Reporting
Report on crew performance, operator maintenance, client satisfaction, and workmanship qualityMaintain written documentation for commercial and contractual matters
7. Management Systems
Conduct monthly site audits (QA, Safety, Environment)Perform Foreman resource auditsEnsure compliance with legislation and SPA management systemsRecommend system improvements
8. Purchasing & Subcontractor Management
Pre-order products and subcontractorsObtain competitive quotesMonitor subcontractor performance
9. Plant Maintenance
Coordinate with Project, Operations, and Plant ManagersEnsure regular machinery maintenanceManage preventative and reactive maintenance efficiently
10. Miscellaneous
Provide feedback to senior management on company improvements
