Position Overview
The Data, Configuration and Quality Officer will assist with development, delivery, measurement and administration of Data Management (DM), Configuration Management (CM) and Quality Management System (QMS) products and services.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain documentation, technical data, records, baselines, and engineering & commercial changes;
* Ensure data integrity, compliance, and consistency across all records, systems and processes.
* Support the full life cycle of data and configuration management, including identification, registration, review, approval, and release of records and baselines.
* Develop and maintain configuration management outputs, including baselines, master record indexes, status accounting reports, and audit activities (functional and physical)
* Administer and participate in configuration control boards, configuration audits, and design reviews.
* Administer and participate in quality management meetings and reviews.
* Coordinate QMS operations, including Non‐Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective and Preventative Actions (CPA), and the Internal Audit program.
* Assist to implement and maintain the controls necessary for data to meet quality, security, trade control and intellectual property requirements.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to support the delivery of data, configuration, and quality outcomes.
Qualifications Essential
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in DM, CM, and/or Quality Management (QM), preferably within a related industry
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while working to schedule commitments.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* The ability to work accurately and unsupervised, and the ability to prioritise work as required and manage external/internal resources.
* Demonstrated ability to adhere to critical deadlines.
* Demonstrated understanding of, and personal alignment with Insitu Pacific's values.
Desirable
* Experience working with engineering and collaborative tools such as ARAS Innovator, SharePoint, JIRA, DOORS.
* Formal Data, Configuration and/or Quality training / certification.
* Knowledge and understanding of industry data, configuration, and quality management standards such as: ANSI/EIA‐649, MIL‐HDBK‐61, EIA 836, AS9100, ISO‐9001.
* Previous experience working on defence projects.
