- Assisting with end-to-end recruitment nationally, including but not limited to:

- preparing/reviewing advertisements,
- shortlisting,
- interviewing,
- background checking and arranging medicals etc.
- Manage and coordinate all necessary onboarding requirements for new starters.
- Work in conjunction with hiring managers to identify training needs for new starters by utilising the Training Gap analyses and training requirements that come about from the Performance Evaluation (People in Focus) annual process.
- Update and maintain the competency skills matrix.
- Conduct exit surveys for terminating staff, process termination paperwork and organise separation certificates.
- Maintain and manage employee data in systems such as ADP Payroll, Workday and Human Force while ensuring accuracy.
- Provide sound, and accurate advice to employees and managers regarding Modern Award interpretation, equal employment opportunities legislation, National Employment Standards, superannuation and or safe work queries etc, in addition to all other relevant support at a Federal and or State level.
- Assist the HR Manager with preparing documentation relating to performance management and disciplinary meetings.
- Assist HR Manager and other Senior Manager with headcount and recruitment reports etc as requested.
- Actively participate in the HR Monthly meetings and create an action plan to complete by the following scheduled meeting.
- Work in collaboration with the payroll administrator to prepare for fortnightly and monthly payroll.
- Generate employment contracts, position descriptions, flexible working arrangement, relocation notifications and contract variations.
- Provide regular and constant support to managers regarding employee and industrial relations, performance management and other personnel related queries.
- Manage apprentices' documentation and onboarding nationally where required.
- Review, maintain, implement, and educate employees on Company policies, procedures, process Maps and all other required processed in addition to Normet Way of Working and Normet's Core Values etc.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal HR training courses for managers and employees on an 'as needs' basis such as (but not limited to) Workday/Human Force Training, Bullying and Harassment (EEO) and Code of Conduct Training etc.
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of new and exciting initiatives within business to help improve current and or new business processes.
- Organise 'Health and Well Being' activities, initiatives and or other employee benefit programs nationally.
- Provide an exceptionally high level of internal and external customer service.
- Assist in supporting national HR projects as required to promote employee engagement.
- Actively contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of the Quality Management System.
