We are seeking a subject-matter expert with university-level experience in financial planning education to lead the development and continuous improvement of high-quality curriculum and assessment materials across Higher Education (HE), Vocational Education (VE), and Continuing Education (CE) programs. About the Role This is a curriculum leadership role focused on academic quality, regulatory alignment, and industry relevance. You will: Lead the design and review of financial advice subjects and bespoke financial planning courses Develop robust, compliant and industry-aligned assessment strategies (without marking responsibilities) Ensure alignment with current regulatory frameworks, professional standards and industry expectations Translate complex technical content into engaging, multimedia learning experiences Collaborate with multimedia specialists, instructional designers, external writers and industry experts You will play a key role in maintaining academic integrity while innovating in digital delivery and learner engagement. About You You will ideally have: Experience coordinating or teaching financial planning subjects within a university environment Strong understanding of Australian financial advice regulation and professional standards Experience developing compliant, academically rigorous assessment frameworks The ability to balance academic integrity with practical industry application Confidence working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team Industry experience as a practising financial adviser will be highly regarded.
