Join an Innovative Data & Analytics Team as a Data Engineer - ICT

In this vital role, you will help build and maintain a robust Enterprise Data Platform, supporting large-scale data modernisation and transformation programs. Your expertise will enable seamless data integration, ensure high-performance pipelines, and contribute to the ongoing operational excellence of our data systems, all while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to meet strategic reporting and analytics goals.
Required Skills
* Minimum of 3+ years' experience in data engineering, with strong skills in Azure Synapse, data lakes, SQL tools (SSIS, SSRS), and data pipeline development.
* Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure data architectures in hybrid cloud environments.
* Proficiency in managing data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes using tools like PySpark, PySQL, and delta formats.
* Advanced SQL development skills, including query optimization, database management, and performance tuning.
* Solid understanding of data quality management, ensuring data integrity and compliance with governance standards.
* Experience with data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and preparing large datasets for analytics, machine learning, and reporting.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
Nice to Have Skills
* Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platform tools.
* Knowledge of statistical or machine learning models for data preparation and analysis.
* Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate or relevant SQL/data engineering certifications.
* Experience supporting data transition and change management in enterprise environments.
Preferred Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
* Proven track record with at least 3 years dedicated to data engineering within large-scale ICT or modernisation projects.
