This is an exciting opportunity to gain employment with a leading community based not-for-profit disability service with over 40 years' experience in delivering high quality services for those with disabilities living within our community.
What are we looking for
Need to be available to work sleepovers and be available to work one weekend in two on a rostered fortnightly basis. Need to be available to work early mornings and evenings.
Shift times we are looking to fill:
* Early Morning Shifts: Typically between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
* Evening Shifts: Typically between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
* Sleepover Shifts: Included as part of our evening shift roster.
Please note that exact shift start and end times may vary based on the specific needs of the people we are supporting.
Qualifications & experience
* A Current First Aid/CPR (HLTAID011/HLTAID009) is required.
* A current drivers licence is required.
* A current Working With Children Check is required.
* No experience or qualifications required - on the job training provided.
* Ability to follow processes and procedures.
* Display good emotional intelligence - e.g., be self‑motivated, self‑aware and confident.
* Have a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or in process of obtaining one.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Assisting with daily living skills such as meal preparation and personal care tasks.
* Assisting participants to access the community and achieve their NDIS goals.
* All training provided on‑the‑job.
* Located in Echuca.
