Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic customer service representative to join our team at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences for our guests by providing accurate information and directions, selling tickets and memberships, assisting with car parking, and handling special services such as wheelchair or stroller hire.
About the Role
* Deliver a warm welcome to our guests and provide accurate administration & ticketing transactions.
* Sell the features of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary including memberships.
* Answer guest enquiries about the sanctuary and attractions.
* Cash handling and operating a POS system on ticketing and in our car park.
* Excellent spoken and written English and the ability to communicate the features of the Sanctuary.
* Be an energetic and positive team player.
Requirements
* A consistent, warm, and welcoming communication manner is essential to be successful in this role.
* Previous experience in ticketing, reservations or guest relations is required.
* Must have excellent customer service, telephone skills & the ability to solve customer problems and complaints.
* Comfortable, motivated and professional in interacting with guests of all nationalities, people with disabilities, parents and carers, tour group leaders, industry agents and staff and volunteers.
* Excellent time management skills, works well unsupervised, stays calm under pressure and is a flexible team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
* High standard of personal presentation & physically fit. Able to lift & move items up to 10kg & can walk long distances indoors & outdoors, in all weather conditions.
