About this position
Join the City of Gosnells Planning team and help shape our growing community. This role involves assessing development and subdivision applications, scheme amendments, Structure Plans, and Local Development Plans. You'll prepare reports for Council and JDAP, attend meetings with key stakeholders, and provide clear, professional advice to agencies, developers, the public, and internal teams—all while delivering outstanding customer service.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you will possess:
* Knowledge of land use planning and development control, including relevant legislation, practices and trends
* Strong organisational and customer service skills
* Strong written communication skills
* An ability to establish and maintain position working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role is an advantage.
The ideal candidate will have progression towards an Urban Planning degree or similar tertiary qualification.
Essential requirements
* Current and valid driver's licence
* Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
