About the role
We are seeking a values-driven Truck Driver, a role is based at the Caloundra Store and Warehouse and is responsible for handling the movement of goods in and out of the store. The role will also provide assistance in the overall productivity of the Family Stores and warehouse, in line with TSA mission.
You will successfully
* Coordinate the pickup/delivery of all donated goods as per the instructions from the relevant Family Store Manager and in accordance with the written schedule, as per all WH&S manual handling procedures/protocols.
* Maintain stock to required standards and ensure goods are stored and rotated appropriately.
* Understand and determine the value of brands and quality products and carry out procedures related to TSA pickup protocols.
* Provide retail floor assistance as needed including sorting, pricing and moving stock.
* Maintain a safe, clean and uncluttered workspace.
You will have
* Minimum 2 yrs experience in driving/operating commercial vehicles.
* Previous experience in a customer facing role.
* Competent computer skills and ability to use software applications to complete work and training goals.
* Current valid Driver’s Licence.
* First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
* A reasonable level of fitness in order to carry out the duties of the position. This position will require physical ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods time. The role will require you to push, pull, lift, carry, restrain stock and climb ladders etc. such work will be undertaken in accordance with WH&S policies and procedures.
This is a casual position located in Caloundra and Beerwah, QLD. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the General Retail Award Level 2.
