Council is seeking an experienced grader operator to join our Maintenance Team as a Leading Hand.In This Role You WillSupervise and lead staff to complete a range of tasks associated with Road Maintenance.Operate, maintain and service motor grader, smooth drum roller and water truck, as well as any other relevant machinery and equipment.Comply with workplace health and safety and ensure worksite traffic control is compliant and appropriately set up.We Are Looking For Someone WhoHas demonstrated experience in a similar role or extensive knowledge of the equipment and works.Proven capability to effectively supervise and motivate staff to complete activities within an agreed time.Possesses a current NSW MR driver’s licence, General Construction Induction NSW (white card) and Work Zone Traffic Control – Implement Traffic Control Guidance Plan accreditations.Working with us: The successful applicant will have the unique opportunity to directly see the impact of their work on the community, driving the very roads they help maintain.
