NBMLHD is a recognised leader in the healthcare industry. We provide a range of public health services to the Nepean and Blue Mountains and Lithgow Region. Portland Tabulam Health Centre services include Residential Aged Care, sub-acute beds, and a variety of community health services and allied health partners from the Lithgow Health Service. The facility aims to provide patient-centred and personalised care by working with families and the community.
Responsibilities
* As an Enrolled Nurse, provide safe patient care as directed by the Nurse Manager according to the nursing care plan and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife.
* Perform key duties within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse.
* Communicate effectively with the team, patients, and families.
* Maintain accurate health information and documentation for patients.
What You Will Bring To The Role
* Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with AHPRA.
* Demonstrated skill in Aged Care Nursing.
* Ability to organise and prioritise work.
* Person-centred approach to nursing; willingness to embrace change in the delivery of care.
* Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to work a flexible roster (day, evening and night shifts across all days of the week, including public holidays) according to unit/service requirements.
* Ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
* Understanding of practice within legislation, policies and the scope of practice for an Enrolled Nurse.
