Responsibilities
* Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation systems and refrigeration systems.
* Conduct system installations and upgrades, ensuring proper equipment functioning.
* Diagnose system issues using diagnostic tools, technical manuals and industry best practices.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining repairs and offering preventive maintenance recommendations.
* Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
* Keep accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities and parts inventory.
* Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
* Certificate III in refrigeration and air conditioning
* Electrical disconnect/reconnect (D) permit
* 5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems.
* Proficiency in reading drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components of HVAC systems.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Valid driver's license.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts when required.
