The Opportunity
The Faculty of Science are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Fellow to contribute to high‐quality teaching and learning within Sustainable Development Education. The Sustainable Development Education team (SDE) is an interdisciplinary, cross‐cutting program that works alongside traditional science disciplines. The team enables contemporary, integrated education that connects scientific knowledge with society, systems and real‐world sustainability challenges.
Teaching Fellows play a vital role in supporting the University's goal of excellence in education by delivering engaging teaching, contributing to assessment, and supporting the design and enhancement of units and programs.
In this role, you will be primarily involved in teaching and assessment activities, working closely with academic staff to deliver an outstanding learning experience for students. You will also contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the Sustainable Development educational offerings.
Qualifications
* Doctorate or progress towards a doctorate in a discipline relevant to the field of sustainable development, or a closely related field providing insight into sustainable development contexts.
* Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.
