Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative team environment. As a Clinical Assistant, you will work under supervision to assist endocrinologists in the Diabetes Connecting Care Clinic. Your role will involve providing clinical support, assisting with patient assessments, investigations, and treatment plans, and developing strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical support to endocrinologists in the Diabetes Connecting Care Clinic
* Assist with patient assessments, investigations, and treatment plans
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and education programs
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have mandatory qualifications: legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with AHPRA without conditions, undertakings, or reprimands. Additionally, you will require Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or equivalent certification, Credentialing and scope of practice Specialty General Practice requirements, and demonstrated communication skills, including conflict resolution and ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
