We are currently looking for a passionate, highly dedicated and organised Sous Chef to join the team in Garden Kitchen & Bar. You will be given the responsibility of supporting the Chef de Cuisine and assist with leading the team, always ensuring consistency in high quality product and service standards. A few of your responsibilities Monitoring of daily operations, payroll, costs, and guest satisfaction Participate in preparation of menus Develop training plans and support daily learning Participate in shift briefings to ensure a smooth operation What are we looking for Leadership experience working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment Experience driving quality and consistency, with a passion for a diverse range of food Previous knowledge of food and labour cost controls Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) Basic computer skills essential Full working rights to commit to 40 hours a week which can include day shifts, evenings, weekend and public holidays Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Culinary team at The Star Gold Coast.
