The VCAA is a statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools. We provide high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian student's birth to 18 years.
The Senior Secondary Certificate Reform was established to lead a generational reform agenda in response to the 2020 Review into Vocational and Applied Learning Pathways in Senior Secondary Schooling.
These reforms collectively support all Victorian secondary students to pursue high-quality and valued vocational pathways aligned to their strengths and interests and to finish schooling with the skills and capabilities they need for success in further education, training, work, and life.
The Senior Policy Advisor will play an important role in the implementation of new and existing policies and programs that support vocational and applied learning pathways within the Senior Secondary Certificate Reform.
The successful candidate will work with colleagues in the VCAA and DE. Key responsibilities will include strategic policy, project planning, management and reporting, program delivery, governance, stakeholder engagement, communications.

Qualifications and Experience
Experience in developing education policy is highly desirable along with knowledge and experience with Victorian Government governance processes.
