The Theatre department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Nurse Unit Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your prospect
To provide nursing leadership in proactively managing and coordinating clinical practice and the provision of human, financial and material resources in accordance with organisational goals, ensuring a cost-effective nursing service focused on providing exceptional, evidence-based patient care within Theatre / Central Sterilising Department.
About the Team
The Operating Theatre is a 7 day a week, 24 hours, on-call perioperative unit which specialises in General, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Urology, Dental and Trauma surgery. Additionally, the anaesthetic unit actively works as a main component of the Acute Pain Service and as such, is a national leader in this field.
