Accounts Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and organized Accounts Manager to oversee financial transactions, trust accounts, and office administration duties.
This role is a hybrid of in-office and work-from-home days. You will collaborate with our team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
* Financial Transactions:
* Managing accounting, trust account, and payroll activities
* Preparing and lodging BAS & GST returns
* Reconciliations and Xero management
* Insurance Account Processing:
* Policy processing and preparing documentation
* Renewals and client liaison
* Claims lodgement and associated tasks
* Office Management:
* Supplier liaison and landlord management
* Stock and supplies ordering
* General administration and record-keeping
* Compliance:
* Maintaining RG 146 compliance and meeting statutory deadlines
* Ensuring company policies and legal requirements are met
* Teamwork:
* Collaborating with colleagues to achieve business goals
* Supporting junior staff and building relationships
About You:
* A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Accounting is preferred
* Experience with Xero, payroll, and trust account management is essential
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and strong communication skills
* Familiarity with insurance broker policy administration systems is highly regarded
