* As a Researcher in the Mechanical Engineering Department, independently conduct cutting-edge research in robotics and human-robot interaction; collaborate with the School of Computer and Information Sciences; publish findings in leading journals and conferences; engage in teaching and research supervision.
Your fit
* You may be a great fit if: You are an innovative researcher with a PhD in a Mechanical, Electrical and Computer Science possessing expertise in robotics and human-robot interaction, and a proven track record of publishing in leading journals and conferences (e.g. ICRA, RA-L, IROS, HRI, CHI).
* You may also:
o Be experienced in designing and implementing real-time robotic control algorithms.
o Possess excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
o Have a strong ability to analyse data and solve complex problems.
o Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently.
o Be adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders and fostering collaborative partnerships.
