Project Officer – Farm Business Resilience
This role will play a key part in delivering the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund – Farm Business Resilience Program (FBRP) through partnership with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will connect with farmers and provide practical coordination, facilitation, and administrative support to ensure project deliverables are met.
The Project Officer – Farm Business Resilience will be responsible for:
* Coordinate and support the planning, delivery, and administration of FBRP activities, including workshops, field days, and events.
* Provide logistical and coordination support for consultants, service providers, and other stakeholders.
* Monitor project progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to reporting and evaluation.
* Assist with communications that promote project outcomes and farmer success stories.
* Build strong relationships with farmers, consultants, and industry stakeholders to drive participation and positive outcomes.
Requirements include:
* A tertiary qualification in agriculture, agribusiness, project management or equivalent experience.
* Experience in project coordination or administration within agriculture or natural resource management.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
